Prov 20:6
Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a faithful man? NKJV
- Talk comes cheap, but people who actually live it are a rare jewel.
- This is true in every area of life. It is easy to say that you love God and that you are a Christian, but have you really given Him your life? Are you living for Him. The evidence is not in what you claim, but in the fruit your life produces.
- Vs 11; Prov 19:22; 1 John 1:6;
Prov 22:24-25
Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, 25 or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared. NIV
- Being hot tempered is a learned behavior. If it is learned it can be changed. One is not stuck with a certain temper all his or her life.
- vs 25 calls it a snare. A temper is one of the traps of the devil.
- Eph 4:26; Prov 13:20
Ps 128:2
2 You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. ESV
- Even in God’s blessings there is work. It is in your labor that you will be blessed. Gen 39:3 Every thing Joseph put his hand to do was blessed; Deut 28:3 “you will be blessed in the city and field”, that is the place selling and growing, that is in your work. Deut 28:8 says he will bless all that you undertake. Deut 28:12 says He will bless the work of your hands. God’s blessing isn’t so you don’t have to do anything. He wants to bless what you are doing. If you are doing nothing blessed hands don’t help you.
- Laziness Prov 26:13
Prov 21:3
3 To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. NIV
- Ps 51:17; James 1:27;
- It is not our religious activity that is meant to set us apart. (John 13:35) We are supposed to have and show a love, an amazing love. Can people see that love in you? Do you live any different then someone who doesn’t know God? Where does His love shine through you? What was the last thing you did to show the world or one person God’s love? It is easy to talk; it isn’t as easy to look back at myself. Sure I am a good guy. I work hard to do what is right to have integrity and not allow compromise, to spend time with God daily. Yet where is my love seen. I guess if I really stop I can see the effort I have been putting in to try to love. There are all the students I stop to love, but that is also my job. There is my friend I will be there for as he hurts, yet even non-Christians will be there for a friend in hard times. There is the kid in the Dominican that I am showing God’s love to. Supporting Clint allows me to show God’s love in places I can’t personally go. I guess as I look it is there but I don’t want to have to look. I want God’s love to mark me. I want it to set me apart. God have your way in me, and make me more like you. (Luke 10:30-37; James 2:18 Can people see your faith)

2 Kings 6:5-7
5 But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.”
6 So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. 7 Therefore he said, “Pick it up for yourself.” So he reached out his hand and took it.
NKJV
God cares about us and even the little things in our lives. We need to get to a place where we can make requests of God and see miracles take place.
There is no problem too small or too big for God to handle or care about.
God today prepare our hearts and help us to see how much you like us and want to be a part of every aspect of our life (prov 3:6).

Jude 4
4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.NIV
4 I say this because some godless people have wormed their way in among you, saying that God’s forgiveness allows us to live immoral lives. The fate of such people was determined long ago, for they have turned against our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. NLT
- - Those who use grace to justify sin have turned against the Lord and are Hell bound.
- - They use God’s grace as a license to sin. We are told in Rom 6:15-16 that we are not to sin because we are under grace, we become a slave to the one we obey. Mal 2:17 Tells us that God is wearied by people saying those who do evil are right in the sight of the Lord. In 2 John 10-11 If we greet and help one teaching such things we are taking part in their evil works. The Bible makes it clear that you can’t separate someone from their fruit. A tree is known by its fruit Matt 12:33b. Prov 20:11 says that even a child is known by their actions. 3 John 11 tells us to imitate good not evil andour fruit demonstratesour relationship with God. Matt 3:10 says that the tree that doesn’t bear good fruit will be cut down. My actions are tied to my heart they are an overflow of what is in my heart whether I like to admit it or not (Prov 4:23; Matt 12:35). We often want say we believe something that our fruit says we don’t. I get the impression that what counts is what our fruit says not what we claim we believe James 2:17-20. Is there a gap between what we thought we believed and whatour fruit shows us to believe? The Bible tells us what we should do, so we have a choice. If the fruit we see isn’t what it should be we can choose to do some weeding of the heart. God show me the weeds in my life that I need to uproot and prune what you must to make me fruitful for you John 15:2.
